Meaningful Object- Narrative

The paw print molds of my two childhood dogs are meaningful objects to me. I have had dogs since I was 2 years old and they’ve always played a significant part in my life. Playing with my dogs, bringing them to the beach, and going for long walks have been prominent memories throughout my life.  My two childhood dogs, Dolly and Daisy, lived long lives of 16 and 15 years. These dogs and the joy they brought into my entire family’s lives inspired me to want to help other animals experience healthy and happy lives, which has led me to pursue veterinary school. Their presence in my life has made a huge impact on who I am and my love for animals. Although they aren’t around anymore, their paw prints are reminders of the many years of happiness they brought to me. Unlike the many pictures I have of them, their paw prints are tangible items that represent the impression they made in my life.
